Pamgrace Gachenge is a first-generation Kenyan-American and the visionary of PAUSE Project 501(c)3 non-profit organization and DiscoverU Health. She’s a passionate health advocate, outgoing leader, and loving mother who desires to see significant health equity actualized in her community. Through lived and professional experience, she’s seen cultural self-neglect and self-destruction becoming a leading cause of poor health and wellness in minority communities. Her goal is to be the bridge of healing by providing quality health services that meet people where they are. Through DiscoverU Health, she encourages adults and seniors to ‘PAUSE & DiscoverU,’ which implies putting themselves first. As a result, we can realize health equity by engaging and being a part of the journey of renewed health and wellness.
She’s a current student at American University, obtaining her Master’s in Healthcare Management. In July 2018, she launched DiscoverU Health, a comprehensive home care and chronic care service. Three years later, July 2021, DiscoverU Health has expanded services to offer Concierge Medicine (Primary Care Service for Adults & Geriatrics), Mental Care, and Care Coordination. Prior to DiscoverU Health, Pamgrace has worked as a health advocate and in health administration for 14 years. She’s been very active in her community including the following roles
